I would like it if Amon Tobin came back as well.

Amon made some cool beats, though some of them were a bit too minimalist and should have stood at the forefront a little more.

Damn straight! I feel his style fits Seattle better than it even fit Empire...

It'd be a nice touch if they featured the bands that composed the music as in game concerts you could go see in explorable bars, just as a fun little side distraction (though it'll never happen).

Sort of like Old Gods of Asgard in Alan Wake, who were of course a real band called Poets Of The Fall, hailing from my northern home.

I would like it if Amon Tobin came back as well.

As a big, big Amon Tobin fan, I don't think his sound would be so much in place in Seattle. Seattle is big on indie-folk sounds and punk influences, as far as I know.

Not saying he should make the whole soundtrack... But even then, is the Seattle in the game the same as the Seattle in the real world?

I've only been there a few times, but that dark, twangy sort of feel seems to fit parts of the city really well. Other parts would be better fit with some street punk and still others by a classical meets modern feel. It's a pretty diverse city.

It's gonna' be part Seattle, part anarchy and destruction (which is perfect for this city, as Nate Fox and the rest of the team probably have been part of several riots and have those experiences fresh in their memory), part D.U.P. which means this is going to be a crazy but exciting world to be in.

Its not about our favorite bands! What I meant is to incorporate music from Seattle. Bands that are from Seattle. I liked Trogdor's idea. Have some of those bands perform somewhere (bars, park... etc).

Can a mod, MichaelM, say yay or nay to this idea? (Please check the OP)

Chevelle is awesome.

Chevelle is out of Chicago, not Seattle. I saw them tour back in 1999 for Point #1.

I still listen to album... Pretty good...

Oops! Thats right! Epic fail!

And awesome! Well, Collin told me Sunny Day Real Estate are from Seattle. Would they work? My point is to make the streets as real as the real world. That would be sweet.
