Unexpected Censored Words in UGC

I quite agree about why words used in story mode are censored in UGC, especially as they're not even spoken in UGC, just written.  I suppose however they're covering the unforseen possibilities of how people can use those words in unpredictable contexts.  Perhaps the censorship prevents over use or abuse of those words, and helps SP to retain a certain level of control.

I know from experience of playing through inFAMOUS 2 that no words were censored in the subtitled text. So the inconsistency with UGC having censored words is off putting. Some of the words don't even make sense, like after.

Sure it may be a cuss word in German. But my PS3, my PSN account, and default language as well as my copy of inFAMOUS 2 are all NA. So why censor that word for me? There has to be a better way of doing that.

On top of that, I believe there should be a option (in the PS3 system settings or in inFAMOUS 2's setting) to turn censors off. Sure, have it's default setting to on. But I'm over 18, I'd like to turn them off.

Played GameForce's 'Spiker Stomp' today.  The phrase Cul-De-Sac was used in the on screen text and I noticed the Cul part of the phrase was censored out, so that's another one for list.

Oh yeah, I learned from a song that "culo" means "ass" in Spanish or French or something. I'll get on it.

Culo means ***hole in Spanish.

Nope, with words with a lowercase "L" in it, you can simply replace it with an uppercase "i"; in most fonts they look the same. The replacement is much less obvious that way.

I already changed it. Does anyone mind checking if it's fixed?
