RULES AND REGULATIONS
SUCKER PUNCH PRODUCTIONS’ SLY COOPER FAN CONTESTS
NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO PARTICIPATE OR WIN. VOID WHERE PROHIBITED.
ELIGIBILITY: These contests are open only to legal residents of the United States (excluding Puerto Rico, and the U.S. Territories) (the "Eligibility Area"). Employees of Sucker Punch Productions are not eligible.
SPONSOR: These contests are sponsored by Sucker Punch Productions, 500 108th Ave NE #2600, Bellevue WA 98004.
HOW TO ENTER: The “Community” section of the Sucker Punch website will identify the contests currently being held. Depending on which contest you wish to enter, submissions must consist of one of the following: (1) an original piece of art, (2) a digital picture or, (3) a fan story (“Submitted Materials”) relating to the Sly Cooper video game series. Each Submission should include Entrant's name, address, age and email address. You may submit as many entries as you like but you are only eligible to receive one (1) prize. The first set of contests will begin February 1st, 2006 and will conclude on March 31, 2006. Subsequent contests will all run for two months. Entries for a particular contest must be received during the two month period that the relevant contest is being held. CONDITIONS OF ENTRY: By participating, entrants agree to these Official Rules and the decisions of the Sponsor which shall be final and binding in all respects. Sponsor is not liable for lost, late, stolen or misdirected entries. All entries become the property of the Sponsor and will not be returned. Entries must not be illegal or defamatory, must not infringe the intellectual property rights of others, and must not be obscene or otherwise objectionable.
USE OF SUBMITTED MATERIALS: While Company has no present intention of making any commercial use of the Submitted Materials, if all or a portion or any concept submitted actually appears in any of Company's materials or products, by making an entry, each entrant waives any right to claim future compensation for such use.
SELECTION OF WINNING ENTRY: Three winners will be selected for each contest by the Sponsor at the end of the two months that the contest runs. Entries will be judged on the basis of creativity and artistic merit. Entries will be judged against the other entries that have been received by Sponsor during the two month contest period. The decisions of the Sponsor are final. The Sponsor reserves the right to substitute the prize with another prize of equal or greater approximate value due to prize unavailability.
PRIZES: SLY COOPER FIGURINES AND COMICS: ARV of a Sly Cooper figurine is US$15.00. ARV of a comic is US$ 5.00. Winners are responsible for all federal, state, and local taxes, if any. No prize substitution or assignment or transfer of prizes is permitted, except by the Sponsor in which case a prize of equal or greater value will be awarded. Sponsor: (i) makes no warranty, guaranty or representation of any kind concerning any prize, (ii) disclaims any implied warranty, and (iii) is not liable for injury, including death, loss, or damage of any kind resulting from the acceptance or use of any prize or participation in this contest.
NOTIFICATION: Winner(s) will be notified by e-mail. Winner(s) will be given ten (10) days from the time Sponsor sends an e-mail notice to respond and claim a prize. If Sponsor is unable to contact Winner(s) or if Winner(s) does not respond within ten (10) days, prize will be forfeited and another potential Winner(s) will be selected.
FULFILLMENT: All prizes will be delivered to the Prize Winner(s) by regular mail. Sponsor is not responsible for prizes lost or damaged in the mail.
GENERAL: This contest is subject to all federal, state and local laws. Void where prohibited. The winners agree that the Sponsor shall not be liable for any claim, action, injury, loss, liability or damage of any kind resulting from participating in this contest or from the acceptance, use or misuse of any prize. Sponsor reserves the right to verify eligibility qualifications of any winner.
